Lisa Crary, the Chief Exec. for Sanítas Skincare educates POSHGLAM on her amazing skincare line and her unique skincare regime.

POSHGLAM: What makes Sanítas product line stellar in comparison to similar lines?

Lisa Crary: At Sanítas we feature very high concentrations of active, biogenic ingredients. Many other lines formulate with mostly fillers and low concentrations of active ingredients, where we limit the use of fillers and our products are kosher certified, and paraben-and preservative-free.

POSHGLAM: Tell me what is the core philosophy of your line?

LC: We have a unique philosophy about how to create beautiful skin and our products are designed to help treat common skin disorders and to bring skin back to its healthy, normal state. In addition to topical skincare products, the skin also grows and regenerates itself through proper nutrition and supplementation and our goal is to create healthy skin by utilizing both topical and internal skincare strategies.

POSHGLAM: For a newbie to Sanítas what is a good starter product?

LC: The best introduction to Sanítas is a system kit designed for different skin types. These kits last about 60 days and provide the core elements of Sanítas; included are an active and resting cleanser, toner and moisturizers for an introductory routine.

POSHGLAM: What age group is your line intended for use?

LC: Sanítas are designed to address all different skin types, ages and skin challenges such as acne, rosacea or hyperpigmentation.

POSHGLAM: What product do you recommend for someone who has acne in their 30s?

LC: At Sanítas we believe that most acne stems from internal causes and should be addressed through both topical products and nutritional supplements. One of the most common reasons that acne occurs in the 30s is a result of hormonal imbalances or food allergies. To treat these forms of acne a good starting regimen includes Sanítas Complexion Clear ($34), a skin detox supplement, and the Sanítas Drying Lotion ($27) to treat inflammation and speed the healing of blemishes.
