Oh-na-na, what’s her name? Reb’l Fleur, or as we know her, Rihanna is set to release her first fragrance this month. The fragrance, Reb’l Fleur, is named after Rihanna’s childhood nickname given to her by her grandmother, and is also one of her tattoos.

The fragrance, developed by Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien of Givaudan, is composed of tropical scents to embody the island background of the Bajan singer. The main scent is a mixture of red berries, purple plum and peach. Hawaiian hibiscus flower, violet, tuberose and coconut water compose the underlying scent. The base is made with sexy scents of vanilla, patchouli, amber and musk.

The fragrance may be sweet, but all that sweetness is bottled into a sexy stiletto-heel inspired glass design, which adds an extra kick. Think tutu and stilettos.

Parlux, the company behind the fragrance, and other celebrity perfumes such as Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton, expect extremely high sales for the new concoction. The fragrance will be available in stores nationwide January 25 for $49 for the 1.6 oz., $59 for the 3.4 oz., and $30 for the 6.7 oz. body lotion.

The ad campaign is similar to all the other celebrity fragrances out there. It would have been nice to see Rihanna break out of the norm as she usually does. Hopefully the video campaign shows her daring side.
