Rag & Bone is, simply put, one of our favorite labels, so it’s time to share a little label love for the label we adore. Collection after collection Rag & Bone gives us clothes we can’t help but love to live in. From a basic pair of skinny jeans with an added, almost washed out lipstick red pop of color like the Rag & Bone Legging, to a sleek pair of Keaton sunglasses that would make Anna Wintour’s trademark shades jealous, Rag & Bone is the label for our lifestyle. From slouchy sweaters and chunky knits to seductive drapery and elegant tailoring Rag & Bone transforms the possibilities of our wardrobe. Leg warmers have come a long way since the days of Jennifer Beals in Flashdance, and although she looked pretty damn hot in them we prefer the chic and eclectic versions found in this decade (see No.2).  Whether you’d like to dance around in your underwear to ‘Maniac’ or need a little extra pretty insulation for your boots, the Shoreditch leg warmers are the perfect shoe accessory for the season. Rag & Bone is perfect for sweet staples that make a statement without being overbearing, and it’s for that reason and the fact that we’re self committed clothes horses that we’ll never get enough of the brand.

When it comes to downtown cool, no brand embodies it better than Rag & Bone. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are capturing a look that every girl and woman alike wants right now and their efforts are paying off. Their Fall 2010 collection has been their most popular to date and along with its success comes a CFDA win for Menswear and four boutiques under their belts.

R.J. Cutler took note of the design duo’s success and filmed a documentary on the pair while they were preparing for their Fall 2010 runway show. It shows how a small design team operates and the ups and downs that a fashion house experiences while working on cranking out a collection. Cutler has his share of success with fashion documentaries as he is the director of the infamous September Issue. If this is anywhere near as revealing, we are all in for a treat.

Starbucks is sponsoring the documentary which will premiere on September 8th, just in time for the start of Fashion Week. After its premiere, it will be available for viewing at www.rag-bone.com and www.frappuccino.com.
