Jennifer Aniston in Lanvin Spring 2010

By Faith

At the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, The Switch, Jennifer Aniston was seen in a simply chic nude and black dress from Lanvin’s Spring 2010 collection. Lanvin is always a perfectly elegant red carpet choice and the fashion house has been on the lips of everyone in the industry after the new opening of its New York boutique.

Aniston chose her signature straight coiffure, unlike the messy oversized chignon that Alber Elbaz chose for the runway. She accessorized with jewelry from Fred Leighton, Josie and Lottie strappy sandals and a black crocodile clutch from Salvatore Ferragamo.

Channel Your Inner Rockstar in Worn Free

By Samantha

Worn Free had a mission, to recreate the coolest shirts of all time for men, women and children, and one thing is for sure, they succeeded. I mean, who doesn’t want to roll around in a replication of a shirt worn by a rock god, or goddess. They have made copies of shirts worn by legends from John Lennon, Frank Zappa and Kurt Cobain to Debbie Harry, Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali, just to name a few. The designs and pictures are licensed from the estates and/or individuals, so no worries about copyrights. In fact, these legends’ camps are thrilled to have you rocking their legacy.

The shirts, while replications, are authentic and genuine. Remember the first concert that you ever went to? I’m sure you remember what the singer, or songstress was wearing. Rockers have that unique sense of style that is all their own, and now is being made attainable. Celebrities have quickly jumped on the Worn Free bandwagon, including Jennifer Aniston, Adrien Grenier, Carmen Electra, Robert Downey Jr., Mischa Barton, Naomi Campbell and the adorable Mister Cruz Beckham. Kristen Stewart is seen wearing Joan Jett’s famous “Turner’s on the Strip” tee in her latest film, The Runaways. You have to love when celebrities are basically wearing other celebrities, showing true love for our common icons and idols.

And the best part about Worn Free. Getting your idol’s look has never been easier. The custom-made shirts are made with 100% cotton and retail for $50 or less. The cost of looking famous just became super wallet friendly. The shirts come with custom hang tags which can act as a souvenir for your room, and you can pretend that you were there when your icon played live. Worn Free has a well edited selection truly showcasing the real favorites of Hollywood past. And Hollywood’s present is already raving.

Jennifer Aniston Loves Her Brave Leather Belt

By Samantha

Boyfriend jeans are here to stay, and along with the trend, belts for women are making a huge comeback for a classic chic look. Brave Leather Belts have been worn by Jennifer Aniston numerous times as of late, and there is something about her wearing a trend that instantly makes it fresh, casual and fun.

All Brave Leather Belts have signature novelty detailing, embellishments and hardware that add a functional, edgy piece to your outfit, pulling it all together. Handmade in Canada, the belts are also extremely earth friendly. The dyes for their belts are made from plant and vegetable extracts, and no animals are killed for the leather, as all materials are reclaimed from the food industry. It’s the circle of life, and the end result is some pretty kick-butt belts, that will make your favorite jeans and tee combo even more hip.

Brave Leather Belts retail for between $75 and $160 and are available online at BraveLeather. Getting Jennifer Aniston’s look has never been this easy. Now, if only we could tackle the hair.

POSHGLAM's Best Dressed at the Golden Globes

By Samantha

I’m not sure what was more exciting about this year’s Golden Globes: watching the starlets prance down the red carpet, or learning of Joan River’s return to it. Either way, the 2010 Golden Globes brought an array of colorful gowns and no real misses. All in all, everyone looked fabulous but of course, we couldn’t help but pick favorites.

Two of our favorite “Friends” were there, and while dressed black, these ladies looked anything but basic. Courteney Cox looked like a true cougar in her Victoria Beckham dress and Jimmy Choo “Zena” sandals and “Tube” clutch. Jennifer Aniston looked jaw-dropping as she presented in a Valentino dress, Versace heels and Fred Leighton jewels.

Julia Roberts, a personal favorite and no stranger to the red carpet looked super chic in a vintage Yves Saint Laurent frock and a statement necklace from Van Cleef and Arpels. Olivia Wilde made her black look dazzle in a gown by Gucci, Jimmy Choo “Zena” sandals (same as Cox), jewels by Tiffany and Co., and a Judith Leiber clutch. We’re even more excited that Wilde is donating her dress to be auctioned off in a benefit for Haiti. Visit ArtistsforPeaceandJustice.com for more information.

Newcomer Lea Michelle looked like a real princess in an Oscar de la Renta number complimented with Chopard jewels, a Fendi bag and Christian Louboutin heels. Black has never been less boring.

White also made a big foray on the red carpet. Kate Hudson looked refined and classic in a Marchesa gown and Stephen Russell bracelet. Starlet Kristen Bell opted for a shorter number with her Jasmine di Milo dress, which she accessorized with a Judith Leiber clutch, Van Cleef and Arpels jewels and Christian Louboutin heels. Calista Flockhart, who I miss seeing on the carpet, channeled a vintage vibe in her Alberta Ferretti dress and Judith Leiber clutch. Jaime Pressly made her light shade metallic and stunned in a Kevan Hall dress and Lauren Merkin clutch.

There were quite a few starlet who dazzled in bold colors on the carpet. These are usually my favorite, and it is even better when the colors are on celebrities that you would not expect. Cameron Diaz defined bold in a stunning Alexander McQueen dress, Roger Vivier clutch, Ferragamo pumps and a vintage Van Cleef and Arpels rope bracelet. Big winner of the night, Sandra Bullock, looked like an iconic movie star in her Bottega Veneta gown and clutch with sky-high Casadei shoes. Fashionista Zoe Saldana chose a fab berry colored hue in her Louis Vuitton dress and Brian Atwood shoes.

Another big trend at the Golden Globes was golden dresses, which makes sense given the occasion. If only there was better weather, the gold would have really been able to shine in the January sunlight. Hollywood’s darling, Drew Barrymore, another winner, channeled old Hollywood glamour in an Atelier Versace gown coupled with Jimmy Choo “Zena” sandals, a Roger Vivier clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. “House” hottie Jennifer Morrison looked graceful in a Luis Antonio dress, Judith Leiber clutch and Martin Katt baubles. Her red lips were the perfect compliment. Another winner of the night, Mo’Nique looked just as golden and beautiful as her statue. Nicole Kidman rocked the red carpet in a dress by Nina Ricci and Fred Leighton jewels. These ladies proved that gold is always in style, and really can look good on anyone.

Not far off from the above spectrum, there were quite a few pink and grey hued dresses that wowed on the red carpet. It may have been raining in Los Angeles, but these ladies are definitely ready for spring-time to roll around and showcased some trends that we are sure to be seeing more often. Emily Blunt looked feminine, fresh and fantastic in a Dolce and Gabbana dress, Jimmy Choo “Quinze” booties and a Ferragamo miniaudiere. One of our favorite celebrity moms looked stunning in an Atelier Versace dress, Judith Leiber clutch and Bulgari jewels giving us a newfound love for grey. Maggie Gyllenhaal spiced up the red carpet in a RM by Roland Mouret “Sirens” mermaid gown, Prada shoes and Bulgari jewelry.

No Golden Globes is complete without Miss Golden Globe. This year, the honor was given to Hollywood celebrity Alfre Woodard’s daughter Mavis Spencer. The two posed together for a picturesque look in berry shades. Woodard chose a purple gown with Jimmy Choo “Perfume” sandals, while her daughter opted for something peachier. Miss Golden Globe and her mother looked absolutely phenomenal, and closed the gap between Hollywood icons and starlets. The Golden Globes were definitely a fashion hit this year, despite the rain. Stay tuned for more red carpet coverage, after all, the Academy Awards are just around the corner.
