Emmy Awards 2010: Stars in Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta gowns are made for the red carpet, so there was no surprise that stars Lea Michele and Tina Fey wore designs from his Resort 2011 Collection to the 2010 Emmy Awards. Both Fey and Michele were nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy for 30 Rock and Glee.

Though very different in shape, both Fey and Michele looked stunning in form-fitting silhouettes. Fey’s gown was art-deco inspired with black embroidered detailing and she accessorized with a clutch from VBH and jewels from Lorraine Schwartz. Michele opted for a navy taffeta gown with a sweetheart neckline and organza ruffles at the gown’s bottom. It was very much flamenco inspired and matched perfectly with her playful spirit. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels as well.

Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera Resort 2011

The ladies of the cast of Glee are showing the world that they not only have talent, but style as well. They are taking the top bids on everyone’s Best Dressed lists and shining on the red carpet.

Dianna Agron is a cast member rarely seen, but she looked amazing at the Breakthrough of The Year Awards in Los Angeles. She chose a design from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2011 Collection. The floral jacquard dress has a beautiful mix of bright colors and textures including satin, sequins and the organza pinwheels that adorn its bottom.

Agron accessorized with Carolina Herrera for Manolo Blahnik pumps in a beautiful rusty pink as well as a clutch in the same shade.

Lea Michele in Naeem Khan Resort 2011

Lea Michele’s star is shining so bright right now that it seems the actress can do no wrong. The hit show on which she is a main character, Glee, is taking off and so is she, not only for her talent but also for her haute red carpet fashion choices.

At the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, the star was seen in a design from Naeem Khan’s Resort 2011 collection. The piece was tailored just for her as the hemline was raised and the neckline lowered. The dress showed off Michele’s fantastic physique and put her in the ranks of some of Hollywood’s sexiest actresses, taking her away from her slightly nerdy Glee character. She accessorized with nude pieces from a sleek clutch in the subtle color as well as wedges from Christian Dior’s Spring 2010 collection.
