What can’t Jason Wu do? He has embarked on a line with TSE, eyewear, shoes and handbags and now he is taking on beauty with his first set of nail lacquer.

He is collaborating yet again, but this time with CND (Creative Nail Design). The company is a leader in fashion shows, working with famed designers including Phillip Lim and Marc Jacobs and now they have set their sights on Wu. This is their first direct collaboration with a designer and Jason Wu feels that the partnership couldn’t be more natural: “Every season I play with different ways of using color in my collection, so it was a natural choice to collaborate with CND on a capsule of nail colors that reflects my aesthetics. Included in the set is my signature gray color.” (courtesy of WWD)

Four colors are featured in the collection: Miss Wu – an ashen matte grey that is Wu’s signature color, Brigitte – a gentle pink named after Brigitte Bardot, Veronica – a blood red named after bombshell Veronica Lake and Sophia – a mushroom hue dedicated to Sophia Loren. Last, but certainly not least is the topcoat, named Anna, which contains fragments of silk and gives your nails a tweed-like look.

Definitely Spring beauty must-haves.
