The arrival of fall brings cooler weather, chic outerwear and dramatic makeup that works well for upcoming dinners and parties. While we know the power of a killer ensemble, there’s nothing like meticulously applied cosmetics to really make your look pop. Fashion Week gave us a healthy dose of beauty trends to watch for this season. NARS caused quite the uproar for style-blazing makeup mavens. Check out these color trends that are certain to get you through autumn looking incredibly bold, smokey and chic.

NARS made-up the models for the Rodarte runway show; with lead artist James Kaliardos creating stunning looks that complimented the line effortlessly. Look, inspired by Van Gogh’s brush strokes, uses the greyish navy blue smoky eye and lavender lips reminiscent of the artist’s greatest work. “It’s a really beautiful, round, smoky eye with gradations of blue,” says Kaliardos ,”It’s like ‘Starry Night’ and then there’s this beautiful lavender lip, complemented by warm skin.” We can absolutely see this vibrant look working for a glitzy dinner party or date night.
