Yesterday, Roitfeld and John Demsey, Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies hosted an exclusive ball to celebrate the launch of Roitfeld’s first-ever color collection at the historic Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, during Paris fashion week. Roitfeld, stylist, image-maker and muse, has revolutionized the world of fashion with what she calls “violating the codes of bourgeois elegance.”  Blurring the line between sensuality and sophistication, with a bit of rock’n’roll and a sense of humor, her irreverence and razor-sharp instinct has penetrated fashion with street style laced with discreet erotic Parisian femininity. Roitfeld has taken the classic smoky eye and transformed it into a true work of art. For the M•A•C and Roitfeld partnership, she edits her signature look into a collection of chic colors and tools for recreating her couture looks. The VIP guest list is a biggie, but we were lucky enough to rub elbows with some of the notable attendees including Karl Lagerfeld, Kanye West, Alexander Wang, Jenna and Prisca Courtin Clarins and Karlie Kloss.
