Top of the Standard provided the perfect ambiance to welcome in notables and industry insiders without overwhelming the masses. Did I say Jay-Z aka Jigga was in the house? Believe it–or not, he was on deck among the semi-moguls, trading words of advice and exuding down-to-earth vibes. D’USSE, “A bold new expression of Cognac”–thrilled the room and celebrated humble nobility. In addition to serving the cognac neat known as the D’USSE Perfect Pour, famed mixologist Justin Noel also created intricate signature drinks like the Lorraine 75 and Crusader’s Cross:

The Lorraine 75 features 1oz D’USSE, .5oz Benedictine, .5oz Lemon Juice, .5oz Homemade Grenadine, topped with Champagne, garnished with a long lemon spiral and serve in Champagne flute.

The Crusaders Cross features 1oz D’USEE, .75oz Cointreau, .5oz Lime Juice, .5oz Apricot Brandy – shaken, coup. – garnished with Brand Cherry and served in rocks glass.
