The emerging designer line at New York Fashion Week BLK line proved to be quite a success. Bold Culture, MaDavi & Co, and C. Rose were three of the emerging designer lines that illustrated that elegance and comfort can be meshed. There were dresses and suits with bold colors: aqua blues and greens, pink with a light hue of grey. Refined purple and green gowns made a discerning statement on the fashion floor. The women’s outfits were stunning and breathtaking. The men’s line sported jean jacket and jeans with splashes of color.

Edessa School of Fashion, from the Midwest, brings together a set of unique and diverse values to the runway. Edessa’s mission is to encourage a diverse body of motivated students to enhance their creative skills through design and experience.  Bright and darkcolors and patterns dominated The Edessa School of Fashion. A black dress with flower embroidery along with an orange and yellow blouse suit was one of many favorites. One model roared The World Is My Runway in black print on a white stretched shirt. Andre Purdy, Sabrina Lombardo, and Stephanie Shultz were the three designers of Edessa School of Fashion that impacted the fashions of NYFW BLK’s runway.
